What is the minimum investment amount?
The minimum amount is EUR 10,000 for a package deal, EUR 2,000 for a single investment.

How does investing in a package deal work?
You can download the information package on our website. You will have to sign the registration form and transfer the money. Very easy!

Is it possible to invest with others, in a club deal?
At the moment it is not possible to invest with others. If you want to invest, but don’t have the minimum funds available for the package deal, you might want to have a look at deal-by-deal proposition.
What is the expected timeline for returns?
With the package deal, we plan to invest in the first three years and exit the companies in the next five years, so in total 8 years. We have the option to extend it with 2 years.
How will I receive updates?
You will receive quarterly updates on your portfolio and we will host an annual event
How is the package deal structured legally?
We will be investing through a Limited Partnership structure (called a CV in Dutch)
In what kind of founders are you investing?
We only invest in women that change the world to create new role models for other women and girls
Can I invest more if I want?
Yes! As long as we’re open to new investors, you can also invest more.
Can I get my money before the end of the investment?
No, possibilities to transfer or sell your participation in the limited partnership are very limited (conditions set out in the limited partnership agreement) so please consider this carefully before you join.
What are the associated fees and expenses?
For the package deal, we ask an introduction fee (% depends on your investment amount), 2% (yr 1-3), 1% (yr 4-10) management fee per year and 20% carried interest at an exit event. When you choose to build your own portfolio, you pay a one off fee to our partner Wefunder and 20% carried interest at an exit event.
Is Joanna Invests regulated by the AFM?
No, Joanna Invests is not regulated by the AFM, because the Limited Partnership raises funds less than EUR 5m. The Limited Partnership is therefore not obliged to publish a by the AFM approved prospectus and there is no ongoing supervision from the AFM.
What is the approach to due diligence when selecting startups?
We do extensive research on the company and its founders, and prefer to co-invest with an experienced investor (VC fund or significant angel investor)
